1993 we invented a new process
Color digital printing was in its infancy.
We came up with two
innovative magnet ideas.
- Digitally printed magnets
- Individually personalized magnets
Here was our first job. We individually personalized 2,000 business
cards that went into a mailing. Our first form of manufacturing was
primitive, so it took a long time. But, it was a success. The
recipients of the mailing really liked seeing their name on a magnet. This
was our beginning.

Our second form of manufacturing began in 1994. We assembled a series
of machines. Although the machines didn't work
quite as well as we had hoped, we were able to prove that our new form of
manufacturing worked. |

In 1996, we started on machine #3. We
wanted a single machine that could combine the series of machines above. There
was no machine that we could buy, so we had to build one piece by piece. |

In 1998, the machine was finished mechanically.
It was 7 feet
tall, 17 feet long and 4,000 lbs. There were thousands
of parts, most of which we custom made. |

Next, we ran hundreds of feet of electric,
signal & control wires. |

We programmed the PLC (brain) with
ladder logic software. Finally, we had accomplished our goals and
the machine was ready to run. |

These are just a few of the many dies that we use to cut different
sizes and shapes. |

Here are the giant magnet rolls that we feed
into the machine. Each roll weighs over 450 lbs. |

See the laminate rolls that protect the images
on the magnet. If you read through the "How to Comparison Shop"
section, you will know why this is the best quality material to use. |
